The JUCKER HAWAII MAKAHA SE longboard is one of our most popular models. Its high-quality bamboo deck, iconic Tiki design and original look make it a true classic and one of JUCKER HAWAII’s most popular longboards.

The SE version features the same proven deck construction and the same high-quality setup as the classic MAKAHA. As a special visual highlight, however, the MAKAHA SE is equipped with black JUCKER HAWAII all-round trucks. These give the board a particularly harmonious and distinctive look.

New model with an additional fiberglass layer

For the new model, we have further developed the proven construction of the MAKAHA and additionally reinforced the deck with a layer of fiberglass. This provides a more consistent and comfortable flex while also improving the dimensional stability of the deck.

As a result, the board retains its lively and comfortable riding characteristics while being less prone to warping over time. A high-quality development of our longboard classic that you can feel on every ride.

High-quality bamboo deck – every board is unique

The outer bamboo layers give the MAKAHA SE its natural and high-quality appearance. As bamboo is a natural material, every deck has its own individual grain and is therefore truly unique.

The core made of five layers of cold-pressed Canadian maple, together with the two outer bamboo layers and the additional fiberglass layer, provides a balanced combination of stability, flex and riding comfort.

The JUCKER HAWAII logo is laser-engraved directly into the wood of the deck beneath the sandblasted, transparent Cleargrip. This keeps the natural bamboo surface visible while also providing a secure grip.

Premium riding experience with black all-round trucks

The wide black 50° RKP all-round trucks provide stable, controlled and agile handling. The black trucks are the special distinguishing feature of the SE version and perfectly complement the black KAKU wheels.

The soft 78A wheels glide smoothly and comfortably even over rougher asphalt. As a special detail, the black wheels feature a JUCKER HAWAII Outer Wheel Print. Smooth-running JUCKER HAWAII ABEC-11 bearings provide the necessary smoothness when cruising and carving.

A piece of Hawaiian surf culture

The MAKAHA SE is named after the world-famous surf spot on the west coast of Oʻahu. The artistic Polynesian Tiki design on the underside of the bamboo deck represents the original spirit of Hawaiian surf and board sports culture.
