The Small MAKAHA for Kids and the City
The MAKAHA MINI brings the unmistakable look of our longboard classic to a shorter and particularly agile cruiser deck. With a length of 85 cm, it is compact enough for the city while its wide longboard trucks and soft wheels still provide a pleasantly smooth and stable riding experience.
This makes it the ideal cruiser for children, teenagers and all adults looking for a manageable board for short journeys and relaxed rides.
Compact, agile and easy to control
The 50 cm wheelbase makes the MAKAHA MINI considerably more agile than a classic longboard. Tight turns and quick changes of direction are therefore particularly easy.
The pronounced kicktail helps to lift the board over small edges, avoid obstacles and try out the first simple tricks. Despite its compact size, the MAKAHA MINI rides like a real longboard – only smaller, more manageable and more agile.
Natural bamboo look with Hawaiian Tiki design
Just like its big brother, the MAKAHA MINI features the characteristic bamboo design of the MAKAHA series. The deck consists of five layers of Canadian maple and two outer bamboo layers. A fiberglass layer has deliberately not been used. The classic wood construction provides a natural appearance and a direct board feel.
The Polynesian-inspired Tiki design brings the spirit of Hawaii to the board. The cruiser is named after MÄkaha, a world-famous surf spot on the west coast of OÊ»ahu.
The transparent Cleargrip keeps the natural bamboo surface visible while still providing your shoes with a secure grip on the deck.
Black setup for a particularly harmonious look
Matte black trucks, black wheels and the dark Tiki design create a strong contrast with the light bamboo wood. This gives the MAKAHA MINI a sporty, high-quality and unmistakably Hawaiian appearance.
Anyone who likes the natural style of the full-size MAKAHA or the MAKAHA SE but is looking for a smaller and more compact board will find the perfect alternative here.
Soft wheels for relaxed cruising
The wide JUCKER HAWAII all-round trucks provide a stable stance and easy-to-control steering. With their 50-degree angle, they respond directly without making the cruiser unnecessarily unstable.
The black 69 mm KAKU wheels have a soft durometer of 78A. This allows them to roll smoothly and with plenty of grip over normal and slightly rougher asphalt while absorbing smaller bumps better than hard skateboard wheels.
ABEC-11 bearings complete the reliable all-round setup for relaxed rides through the city, to school or during leisure time.
